Hello bloggers,

Today I am going to be showing you my Summer Learning Journey Teaser Week Kick Start task. This years summer learning journey it is about Critters and Creatures, For the Teaser kick start task you have to think of a new super hero. So you had to choose a animal and turn it into a super hero then, put the super hero into a story of yours. You can make up the theme and story all by your self. I choose a Electric Eel because it sounds cool and sounds strong. I made my super hero so that they can use Electric powers! Does it not sound cool already? I made the villain a robot and my super hero won in the story. If you want to try I will put a link in the blog so you could make a copy and try 😀 Anyways thank you guys Byeee.

  2. Mātauranga Māori is the comprehensive knowledge system of Māori people, encompassing their culture, values, worldview, and understanding of the world.

  3. Activities in Maramataka are based on energy levels, with high-energy phases like Rākaunui suited for planting and physical activity, productive phases like Tangaroa for fishing, low-energy phases like Whiro for rest and reflection, and transitional phases like Tamatea for caution and giving back to the water. Specific activities are linked to each phase to align with the natural energy of the lunar cycle.

  2. Māori traditionally passed on information through a rich and highly developed oral tradition (ngā kōrero tuku iho), as there was no written language before European contact. This was supported by various art forms and practices that served as repositories of knowledge.
  3. I think the Maramataka is good because it aligns personal well-being with natural rhythms, providing guidance for optimal planting, fishing, and energy management through observation and reflection.
